It's one thing to wear a blue or green wig during a performance or in a video, however some artists are taking this form of expression from the stage to the red carpet. Artist Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry were both spotted wearing colored wigs for appearances and events. I question whether they were trying to stay in character or whether they have taken this form of expression to another level. This also leaves me with a series of other questions such as :
Is it ok to wear colored wigs in public?
Is this form of expression a call for attention?
Will this influence others to imitate this not so flattering trend?
